We cordially invite you to a poetic and music evening: The Wordmeeting of Tomasz “Lipi” Lipski, which will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 7.00 p.m. at the Savchenko Gallery
Tomasz “Lipi” Lipski- born in Gdansk. Poet, musician, cultural animator. Laureate of national poetry competitions. He made his debut in the Topos magazine in the 90s. Member of the poetry group “September” founded in 1994. He has to his credit four poetry volumes: “Photographs of my memory” – 1995, “First word” – 1998, “Opowieści z Busza” – 2005 and “Prymityw” of 2018. Scholarship holder of the City of Gdańsk and the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, for creators of culture. He conducted poetry workshops and radio broadcasts, incl. in the Remand Center in Gdańsk, where he published an anthology of poems of inmates titled “A breath of freedom” in 2014. In 2012. he released an album with his poetic texts entitled “Prisoner of Love” with the band Lipi & Czemuś. Member of the Ikenga Drummers team.
This event is one of the series of musical and poetic meetings as part of the “Hear the picture = see the sound # 2” project, which is supported and co-financed by the City of Gdańsk as part of the competition for cultural activities for 2022 ”.
