A work by Serhiy Savchenko, begun at one of the plein-air sessions near Rzeszów organized by Marzena Strzałba-Kowalska. The painting shows a country path leading toward a mysterious forest silhouette which—despite its seeming somberness—holds unusual, unexpected reflections of soft, noble colors. This lends the piece a mystical aura with a hint of surrealism, reinforced by a precise, remarkably complex technique and a carefully worked surface.
