This Sunday we invite you to another unusual event from the series Savchenko Gallery: “Hear the image = see the sound“. Grzegorz “Stanley” Stanek and Kacper “Xankish” Drzeżdżon, both award-winning beatbox artists, will perform.
The concert will start at 19:00, 05. 09. 2021 in Savchenko Gallery on Szafarnia 11 Street, U10 premises in Gdańsk. Free admission. You are cordially invited!
Grzegorz “Stanek” Stanley, runner-up of the 2021 Polish Beatbox Championships in the duets category as Akus. He has been beatboxing for 16 years. In his compositions he combines vocal percussion with singing and melody. Most of the songs he will present are original material written over the last two years. “I will be presenting my voice without a sound system, using only the acoustics of the room. Kacper “Xankish” Drzeżdżon from Władysławowo is a walking volcano full of fire, inspiration and positive energy. He has been passionate about the art of beatboxing since 2013, constantly winning coveted titles (Polish Beatbox Battle 2021 Champion in Solo category and 3rd place at the international Baltic Coast Beatbox Battle 2019). Since then he has developed as a musician, beatboxer, DJ and bartender putting a lot of heart into each of his passions. His work consists of his own creations and personalized arrangements of well-known musical pieces oscillating within the genres of d‘n‘b, dance, electronic and house. He has already given over 300 concerts, playing in front of such celebrities as Quebonafide, Tau, O. S. T. R. , Dharni and Gene Shinozaki.
