Over the past year, the OLIVKI club has become a sanctuary for many women, a place to return not just for an event, but to find a sense of belonging. We met regularly in a warm, welcoming atmosphere to set aside daily routines for a few hours. It was a time for what we often neglect: resting, breathing deeply, shifting focus, and creating beauty with our own hands. It is a space for genuine conversation and simply being in good company.
The club brings together women aged 45 to 70. We typically meet twice a month, usually on Wednesdays, with sessions lasting between 3 and 4 hours. In our group of 10 to 12 participants, everyone contributes something unique: experience, support, humor, and mindfulness. This sincere, kind interest in one another is what builds our special “olive” atmosphere.
Throughout the season, we held a series of creative workshops where we explored various artistic practices and crafts. We co-created small projects designed to brighten everyday life. Alongside our creativity, we discussed important topics like dreams, plans, and challenges. Every participant left these meetings with a balanced mood, renewed energy, and a sense of inner peace.
A core value of OLIVKI is integration and friendship without borders. Our circle includes Ukrainian and Polish women, as well as those living beyond Gdansk or even outside of Poland. Thanks to our private Facebook group, members join us from various cities and countries. It is an environment where it is easy to connect, feel a sense of community, and build mutual trust naturally and gently.
The meetings are facilitated by curator and artist Lina Savchenko. Her attentive and delicate guidance combines creativity, conversation, and relaxation into a format that offers social, cultural, and therapeutic value. These sessions help reduce stress, provide emotional support, and restore joy in simple things. We also planned outdoor trips together as a natural extension of our time spent as a group.

OLIVKI represents warmth, lightness, and a consistently positive spirit. It is a friendship that grows stronger with every meeting. It is proof that a few hours of creativity and heartfelt talk can brighten the entire week.
