Collage is an art form that surprises with the diversity of materials, shapes, and sensations it can contain. You can combine paper, photographs, fabric, words, and small fragments that suddenly begin to “talk” to one another. It offers almost unlimited possibilities for interpreting reality, because every element can gain a new meaning in a different context. It is a way to tell a story without words, or to create a visual text made of images and details. During the workshop we will cut, arrange, and glue, looking for our own rhythm and mood. Together we will create beautiful worlds where there is space for imagination, memories, and unexpected discoveries.
Anna Wilska
A graduate of the University of Gdańsk and the Gdańsk School of Arts. A member of the Association of Polish Visual Artists. She runs the Matemblewo Kulturhaus art studio. She takes part in artistic plein-airs, and presents her painting and ceramic works at exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
