We invite you to a special concert by “Tymon Tymański & YASSTET” at Savchenko Gallery.

“TYMON TYMAŃSKI & YASSTET” is the latest post-jazz project of the Tri-City artist, where Tymański returns to the world of improvised music. c continues the musical concept presented by the bands “Miłość” and “Tymański Yass Ensemble”. Alongside the leader, who can be seen and heard again with the double bass and bass guitar, “Venimus ad Vitam”. features outstanding and recognizable soloists: saxophonist and bass clarinetist Irenaeus Wojtczak, trumpeter and music producer Tomasz Ziętek, pianist Szymon Burnos, and drummer Jacek Prościński.

This concert takes place as the first event within the charitable project “Puls Przyjaciela”(“Puls of Friend”) created to support initiatives aimed at helping those affected by the Russian-Ukrainian war.
This time, we would like to tell you about the work of otolaryngologist Roman Barylyak (who currently lives and practices in Poland).
From the early days of the war, Roman Barylyak has been constantly visiting Kharkiv, Dnipro, and other frontline cities, where he performs unique operations that save the hearing and health of Ukrainian soldiers. Hearing injuries are among the most common injuries during war, as people in the combat zone are constantly exposed to an environment filled with continuous explosions and gunfire.
Roman Barylyak and his  foundation “Venimus ad Vitam” s also involved in equipping military hospitals in Kharkiv, Dnipro, Rivne, Lviv, and the children’s hospital in the front-line city of Kramatorsk.
Our goal is not only to allocate the funds we have collected to support the activities of the “Venimus ad Vitam” foundation but also to maximize the spread of information in order to encourage all caring friends and donors to directly support this noble initiative and help Roman Barylyak fulfill his medical and humanitarian duty of saving lives and health.

During the concert there will be a charity auctioning of a work of art from the collection of our Foundation, after which the collected money will be donated to the “Venimus ad Vitam Foundation”.

On Sunday, July 2nd, 2023, at our Savchenko Gallery, as part of the “Friend’s Pulse” project, a fantastic concert of true jazz music stars “Tymon Tymański & YASSTET” took place.
During the concert, in the break and after its conclusion, a charity auction of artworks and valuable items was held to support the activities of otolaryngologist Dr. Roman Baryłyak and his foundation “Venimus ad Vitam”.
As a result of this beautiful evening, filled with the flavors of the highest quality music and visual art, a magical amount of 7770 Polish zlotys was raised. This amount was entirely donated to the “Venimus ad Vitam” Foundation to help in the treatment of hearing trauma victims of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
We fondly and excitedly remember this wonderful evening, full of empathy and genuine gratitude. We thank the charismatic Tymon and his Yassstet band.
We thank Filip Ignatowicz for the interesting and highly positive emotional conduct of the auction, as well as our buyer-patrons.
We thank Jan Czerwiński for the beautiful photographs from the concert.
We thank everyone who was with us on that day, as well as those who kept us in their thoughts and followed the online broadcast of the concert.
