The catalogue “Generative Middle Ages” by Vasyl Savchenko is a 30×23 cm art publication dedicated to the legacy of medieval prints and their contemporary reinterpretations. By combining post-digital techniques with drawing and etching, the artist engages in a dialogue with the old masters – including Albrecht Dürer – confronting traditional imagery with the aesthetics of algorithms, codes, and digital image processing. The album includes around 60 graphic works, accompanied by contextual essays and reproductions that transform classical engravings into a new visual language for today.
