You’re warmly invited to take part in an original calligraphy workshop led by calligrapher Michał Matczak, also known as Inkvictus.
During the session, you will explore a historical script called Textura, which dates back to the Gothic period.

For a moment, you’ll be transported to a medieval monastery—surrounded by ink, dip pens, and ancient manuscripts—as you write your own text using the famous Blackletter style.

Would you like me to prepare a full bilingual announcement or visual version for print or social media?

About the Instructor: Michał Matczak Inkvictus
A calligrapher specializing in Gothic scripts such as Textura, Fraktur, and Bastarda. He works not only on paper but also on canvases and walls. He is known for his calligrams and for abstract calligraphy, which some describe as “kaliszlaczki.”

For years, he has been devoted to the art of lettering in a wide range of formats — from miniatures to large-scale works. He uses markers, brushes, and spray paint. Michał trained with some of Poland’s top calligraphers, including Daniel Dostal (Signum et Imago), Wiola Kaczmarska-Rudnik (Linocat), Piotr Kowalski, and Aga Węgrowska (AgaPisze). He also studied at the Monteripido Monastery in Perugia, Italy, where the renowned Summer School of Calligraphy and Fine Arts takes place annually.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling, nature, cooking, reading, and mountain biking (MTB).
