An Evening of Ukrainian and Polish Poetry
August 17th at 7:00 PM at Gallery Savchenko, Ukrainian and Polish authors will recite poetry and share their own works. The poetry will be accompanied by piano improvisations performed by Rybońka.
This atmospheric and cozy event aims to find common and unique features among the authors, as subjective sensitivity, feelings, and inner experiences expressed in poetry attempt to touch others in their own way. It is an effort to communicate and find a common language.
During the evening, there will be an opportunity to ask questions, talk to the authors, and enjoy all the charms of Gallery Savchenko. Translations of Ukrainian poems into Polish and vice versa will be available, and at the end of the evening, participants will have the option to join the program with an open mic session.
