Myhaylo is a dreamer and at the same time an extremely educated and experienced artist. His works are not only a source of continuous inexhaustible energy, but also an example of maximally unwavering structure and perfect composition. At first glance, light and playful forms may seem frivolous, but in reality they contain true greatness and a sum of important constants. His colossal erudition and noble mind allow him to delineate each centimeter of the picturesque structure with incredible precision, as if programming it with his own code for eternal existence. He is a true artist because he can fill each of his works with a special intellect of painting and gesture. Then he transcends any time frames, forever remaining pure and devoted to his life philosophy.

Mykhailo Skobalo was born in Lviv in 1960. In 1986, he graduated from the Lviv Institute of Applied Arts, where he studied in the Glass Art department.
Mykhailo Skobalo’s works are held in private collections in England, Canada, Germany, and Poland. The artist lives and works in Lviv.
