ART KYIV 2025: Where Collections Are Born
From October 3 to 5, 2025, the Kyiv Municipal Art Gallery Lavra will become a vibrant hub of contemporary art. The well-known Kyiv Art Market has been relaunched under a new name and international identity, with the motto: “Where Collections Are Born.”
This year’s art fair will gather more than 20 leading galleries and art institutions from Ukraine, Poland, and the USA, including Abramovych Art, Shum, Vakulenko Art Consulting, Snisarenko Gallery, Savchenko Gallery, Corpus Fine Art, Mironova Gallery, Tuzov Gallery, and the auction house Goldens.
Visitors will discover painting, graphics, sculpture, and photography, alongside special projects and an educational program. An essential highlight will be the Collecting Futures parallel program — panel discussions, performances, workshops, and meetings with artists — emphasizing the role of contemporary art in shaping future scenarios, from cultural resilience and education to art investment and international cooperation.
Special Highlights
During the VIP opening on October 2 at 19:00, the monumental neon installation by Stepan Ryabchenko, “War and Peace” (from the Child’s Babble series, 2018), will be unveiled. This dynamic light composition (8 × 4 meters) will become one of the signature symbols of the fair.
The official visual icon of Art Kyiv 2025 is another work by Ryabchenko — “Love” (2025) — which will also be on view at the exhibition.

📍 Venue: Kyiv Municipal Art Gallery Lavra, 7b Lavrska St. (entrance from Lavrskiy Lane 9, white gate).
