From October 26 to November 17, a series of important events took place in the United States, in the state of Virginia, organized and supported by the non-profit 550 CORD, Inc in cooperation with and with the participation of the Savchenko Foundation.
During this period, an artist residency was held featuring artist Serhiy Savchenko. Throughout his stay, he created a collection of paintings and graphic works, all of which he donated for fundraising purposes aimed at supporting the activities of 550 CORD, Inc and the Savchenko Foundation.
A series of meetings, workshops, and meaningful conversations also took place, culminating in a charity auction that presented works by Ukrainian artists who are active-duty service members, as well as pieces from the Savchenko Gallery collection. As a result of these initiatives, more than $20,000 USD was raised, which will be directed to support American and Polish NGOs in carrying out humanitarian missions in Ukraine.
Another important outcome of these days was an agreement that 550 CORD, Inc will become the official representative of Savchenko Gallery in Virginia (USA), and that all results of this cooperation will continue to be dedicated to humanitarian goals and ongoing support for Ukraine.
