Join us for an intimate wet felting workshop!
During this workshop, you will create a unique candle holder from natural wool by hand – a warm, stylish and one-of-a-kind decorative piece that will bring a special atmosphere to your home.
During the workshop you will:
• spend approximately 2 hours enjoying creative work;
• learn the basics of the wet felting technique;
• create your own original candle holder based on your personal design;
• work with natural wool and discover the magic of the felting process;
• enjoy a friendly and inspiring creative atmosphere;
• take a break with coffee, tea, a glass of wine and light refreshments.
The workshop is suitable for both beginners and those who already have experience with felting. All materials are provided and included in the workshop fee, and you will take your finished candle holder home with you.
Treat yourself to a moment of creative relaxation, inspiration and the satisfaction of making something with your own hands – an object that will warm your home not only with candlelight, but also with the warmth of your craftsmanship.
Lina Savchenko
A multidisciplinary artist working in the fields of printmaking, artistic objects, textile art and painting. Co-founder of the Savchenko Foundation, actively involved in organising and promoting cultural life. Between 2005 and 2015 she ran her own studio, AtelieM12a, in Lviv.
She graduated from the Lviv Art School and the Lviv Ivan Trush Higher School of Decorative and Applied Arts (Department of Textile Art). Her works have been presented at numerous exhibitions in Poland, Ukraine and abroad, including the National Museum and the Palace of Arts in Lviv, as well as in Kyiv and Slovenia.
In her artistic practice, she combines a variety of techniques, inspiring others to discover their own creativity. She has been living and working in Gdańsk for the past several years.
