We warmly invite you to celebrate VIVA OLIVA with us on September 12!
As part of our district’s great celebration, we invite you to Savchenko Gallery for an Open Day:
“MADE IN OLIWA and beyond…”
On this day, the gallery will be open from 11:00 to 19:00.
You will have the opportunity to see exceptional works from our collection, created by artists from Oliwa and beyond. We will present a large collection of hand-painted ceramics dedicated to our district, featuring motifs inspired by its distinctive historic architecture, as well as a series of graphic works and paintings depicting the landscapes of Oliwa.
At 13:30, we invite you to a special performance / open-air painting session by Serhiy Savchenko in the courtyard of our studio. If you arrive on time, you will be able to see live how a painting filled with the natural rhythms of Oliwa comes to life.
From 14:30 to 15:30, there will be an improvised printmaking workshop led by Lina Savchenko, open to our guests.
At 16:30, we invite you to a concert by young artists presenting an improvised programme of original songs: Shrimps Of The Century (Laura Kowalska), this year’s recipient of the City of Gdańsk Cultural Scholarship, and LAKRYTSIYA (Uliana Savchenko).
Come in a good mood, with your friends and family. Let’s spend this day together in Oliwa, surrounded by art, music, and the people who create the atmosphere of our district.
